Our comprehensive, hands-on, half-day anesthesia monitoring training is provided in your clinic by a member of the Midmark Animal Health Training and Education Network. This training helps teams become proficient and confident in the safe operation and use of their anesthesia and monitoring equipment. TRAINING TOPICS INCLUDE: • Anesthesia machine theory of operation, function of components and flow of gases • Proper equipment maintenance for long-term performance and better patient outcomes • Overview of ACVAA anesthetic monitoring guidelines for small animals • Five-parameter monitoring and hands-on assessment including circulation, oxygenation and ventilation. • How vital signs are measured and what the readings mean Veterinarians and credentialed technicians who complete this session will earn 4 hours of CE credit* for Anesthesia Monitoring + Machine Skills Lab.
