Oral and dental diseases are commonplace in cats, imposing a responsibility on the veterinary team to provide high quality oral health care. This seminar will guide the attendee through the 2025 FelineVMA Feline Oral Health and Dental Care Guidelines, including guiding caregivers to be active participants in their cats’ oral and dental healthcare through cooperative care training and spectrum of care considerations. We will review common feline oral and dental diseases and practical approaches to the awake and unconscious oral and dental examinations as well as tips and tricks for dental care and surgery under anesthesia.
